We are so excited that Kate was able to come home yesterday. We are definitely ready to have her out of the hospital.....and so is she. Amber (our home nurse) was able to come up and help me bring her home. We feel so lucky to have Amber. She has been such an amazing help. We actually weren't expecting Kate to come home that soon (we thought it would be closer to the weekend), so I had previously planned a night out with my girlfriends. Well, Kate was released about 4:00 yesterday afternoon and I thought this is plenty of time to get home, get Kate situated and drive back up to SLC to meet the girls for dinner at 7:00. But, there always seems to be some kind of "bump in the road." There was a pretty bad accident right before 215 and I-15 merge which caused a significant backup to about 2000 East. Needless to say, we arrived home at 6:20. Thanks to my AMAZING husband (who was home waiting for us) we got Kate all situated, I dropped Amber off at home and was at Mimi's Cafe by 7:05 (no speeding involved......well, maybe just a little).
Gina, Teresa, Me, Treo (the 4th prego girl)I love being able to spend time with my girlfriends. It's so refreshing to get away for a few hours and just talk and laugh. I have some pretty amazing friends. Not to mention 4 of us are pregnant and due fairly close to one another....there must be something in the water???

Marcae oh my gosh. Ok so I know we were playing phone tag, Iam sorry. But Iam so glad to know I can still find out how Kate and you are doing through the wonderful world of blogging. Even though Iam so bad at it. And holy cow how amazing you look. And I cant believe you were spinning. You put me to shame. I have not really enjoyed this pregnancy. You are so stinking cute pregnant I might just rush out and get started on it tonight. Oh wait I just get ghetto booty not a cute belly. yeah for having Kate home and yeah for only a month left. How early was Kate? You may not even have that many more days left considering the trend. I really shouldn't say that though because I was four days late with Kenlie and ten days early with Afton and I have been trying to catch those two weeks up ever since. Can't wait for that little one to get here.
oh that is so fun! i love going out with my girlfriends too. I know about the time thing i always think i will have more time then i do with getting the boys some where but oh well. I am glad you got out. love meg

Could you be any cuter pregnant? You are darling! I am so glad that Kate is home. We pray all is well! I saw the Besaws on your list, is that Kent Besaw (at least I think Kent). I served in Taiwan with him! Good grief, we know a lot of the same people!
I haven't read blogs for a month - life has been crazy! I'm so glad I could read Kate's whole story with the happy ending. I'm so glad you were in tune with Kate and acted quickly. What a blessing.
